That’s an interesting comment. You make some very good points. Unfortunately, historically, monarchys don’t respect the rights of the people and the people have no voice in the community, unless you create a hybrid such as what the British have where the monarcht essentially has no power and you are electing people to parliament, but then you are back to the election issue. Even though in some elections you only get a small percentage, it is still an overview of opinion and desire of the people.

WELL, I won’t make fun of it.

I don’t even think voting is a good way to pick leaders, and am a died int he wool old style Monarchist.

One of the pratfall sis that if only 10% of the viters sow up they decide what the “Mahority” wants. this is of coruse not truely a majority vote and shoots down the theory in ractice. Another is, why should Majoriy rule in the first place? Is it always rifht?

I prefer a nice, constitutonal Monarchy with small, local Lords who run manors, but must respect the rights of the people, who have (individually) voice in the community.

But Im sure Ill be ridIculed for this, however it is my view.

It is interestign to see however, and I do wonder hwo such a thing will be resolved.
